I ran 10 five minutes blitz games under Aquarium 3 GUI between Rybka 3 and FireBird 1.0 beta. Click the picture to see the result.

Robbolito g3 vs FireBird 1.0 vs IvanHoe vs Rybka vs Fritz 12

Click the image to see my initial test. The FireBird is no better than Robbolito g3. Robbo did not lose a single game. Simply astonishing!!!

Settings:
No opening book,
No tablebases
Blitz 5 minutes
in Fritz 12 GUI
Hardware and OS: Intel duo core, 1.6Ghz, Windows XP

Robbolito family: Ivanhoe and Firebird

Seems that the Robbolito chess engine is expanding, perhaps horizontally through recycled-codes. Robbo appears in different names, FireBird and IvanHoe. If you like to experience them yourself, here are the download links:

Latest RobboLito 0.09 beta is available!!

There is RobboLito 0.09. I heard that this is a beta version. Tested it on Arena GUI and works but got no clue how strong is it compared to older version.
